The awareness of importance of cultural heritage is present in Ptuj for a long time, that is why the organisers of Kurentovanje want it to be a festival of ethnography and cultural heritage. Between 11th and 21st February visitors can see numerous shows and presentations of traditional carnival figures on the streets of Ptuj.
