Ptuj, 31th  January  – Today we presented the media the opening ceremony of European Capital of Culture in partner city Ptuj. The opening ceremony will take place on 10th February with theatre and musical spectacle Kurent's Marriage directed by Matjaž Latin who managed to connect various Slovenian musicians and theatre artists on the same stage. Project European Capital of Culture will enter Ptuj through the open doors of Art & Heritage Festival 2012, which includes all the cultural and ethnographical events of Kurentovanje 2012.
